I am now at St Mary's University in Twickenham, studying theology and Irish studies, student life is great and I've a lot of great friends, even some who love Catholic geekery like I do .. you see miracles do happen! However there are a lot of issues here that I feel is putting the students faith in peril .. the Church's teachings are simply not taught .. and certainly not lived in any meaningful way, of course there is a lot of charity work which of course is important .. but of itself and without the Truth of Jesus Christ .. it will come to nothing.
For example, while is commendable to provide for the poor .. as we are indeed commanded to do, what use is it to protect the body when the soul is in great peril. Sin is not mentioned here .. its does not exist apparently, or that's the opinion you would formulate if you were not schooled well in the faith (which sadly few are).
There are many problems caused by the laity, the clergy and even some bishops refusing to stand up to promote and defend the true teaching of Holy Mother Church, to pretend otherwise would be foolish indeed. As I'm sure many people have heard at this moment in Soho there is a thing called "Soho Masses" .. where gay and lesbian Catholics .. are schooled in heresy, dissent and sacrilege .. the Archbishop of Westminster apparently has no problem this and has even condemned a group of Catholics (who will remain nameless) for praying outside in reparation for this grave sin .. telling them that "they should learn to hold their tongues" .. well I will be silenced and I have written to inform His Eminence William Cardinal Levada, Prefect of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith. I stand by this and I will not rest until this kind of thing is stopped.
I have also taken up pro-life volunteering more seriously, I attend a vigil outside Whitfield Street, Marie Stopes centre ..we pray and make reparation for this terrible wave of sin that has infiltrated culture so radically that it is now considered just another thing we do.
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God!
